The Spray-N-Grow Story

Chemist and avid gardener Bill Muskopf developed a unique formula of 17 micronutrients he called Spray-N-Grow. A family business was born when Bill and his wife Ethel sold the first bottle in 1983. With full time jobs, they worked nights and weekends to grow their company. The first office was in their home, the garage was the warehouse.

Bill and Ethel's daughters, Melanie and Natalie joined the company and their kids work at the company during summers. Our company is energized by three generations of gardeners committed to garden safe for people, plants and pets.

Bill developed Spray-N-Grow Micronutrients to provide plants with vital nutrients missing in fertilizer. His Bill's Perfect Fertilizer is an organic fertilizer that's perfect to use with Spray-N-Grow Micronutrients or alone. Since both his formulas are applied as a foliar spray, Bill created Coco-Wet Organic Wetting to increase his nutrient's absorption.

Spray-N-Grow founder, the late Ethel Muskopf, never hired employees at the family's business. She adopted them into the Spray-N-Grow family. Today, the staff, including several Master Gardeners, has more than 100 combined years helping you to grow your dream garden with products that are all natural, nontoxic or organic.
